Creamy, lightly sweet, and beautifully purple, this easy ube cold foam is made with just four ingredients and ready in about a minute. Pour it over iced coffee, cold brew, matcha, or your favorite iced drink.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon ube extract

Instructions

  • Add the heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla syrup, and ube extract to a small glass or frothing pitcher.
  • Froth for 20 to 30 seconds with a handheld milk frother, until thick and creamy but still pourable.
  • Pour immediately over your favorite iced drink and enjoy.

Notes

  • Ube extracts vary in strength, so start with ¼ teaspoon before adding more.
  • For a less sweet cold foam, use 1 teaspoon vanilla syrup.
  • For a Starbucks-inspired coconut version, replace 1 teaspoon of vanilla syrup with 1 teaspoon toasted coconut syrup.
  • Be careful not to over-froth, or the mixture may become closer to whipped cream than cold foam.
