This easy matcha smoothie recipe is smooth, naturally sweet, and made without any special tools. A simple way to make matcha at home using almond milk, banana, and ice.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 1 handful ice

Optional:

  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into a glass.
  • Serve immediately, or pour over ice for an extra cold smoothie.

Notes

  • For a stronger matcha flavor, add an extra ½ teaspoon matcha powder.
  • For a thinner smoothie, add more milk.
