Instant Pot hard boiled eggs made using the simple 5-5-5 method for perfectly cooked, easy-to-peel eggs every time. Faster and more predictable than boiling.

Ingredients

  • Eggs

  • 1 cup water

  • Ice

Instructions

  • Add water and trivet to Instant Pot

  • Place eggs on trivet

  • Set instant pot to cook on High Pressure for 5 minutes

  • Natural release for 5 minutes

  • Ice bath for 5 minutes

  • Peel or store

Notes

  • You can stack the eggs to fit more into the instant pot
  • This method works best with large eggs
  • For slightly softer centers, reduce pressure cook time to 4 minutes
